Research interests
My doctoral research examines how career development practitioners in vocational rehabilitation and workforce settings make sense of their professional role and the people they serve, and what about that sense-making enables or blocks person-centered, rather than system-centered, practice. I approach practitioner growth as a developmental question, drawing on constructive-developmental theory, with implications for how the field designs professional development.
