I've spent nearly twenty years in the nonprofit sector, and the work I do
now grew out of that time. Today it lives in two companies and my doctoral
research, all pointed at the same question: what does it look like to
meet a person where they actually are, and walk with them while they grow?
Lincoln Square Coaching
A vocational rehabilitation company serving more than 350 youth and
adults with disabilities each year across New York and New Jersey.
LSC partners with ACCES-VR and New Jersey's Division of Vocational
Rehabilitation Services to deliver Pre-Employment Transition
Services, vocational evaluations, and career counseling. I founded it
in 2021 and lead it as CEO.
My coaching practice, and the home of The Grove, community
classes in Midtown Manhattan in digital skills, civic education,
personal finance, design, language arts, and more. The Grove is open
to everyone, no prerequisites, no gatekeeping. It's a place to learn
something new and spend time with other curious people.
I'm a doctoral student in Human Resource Development at the University
of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with Dr. Chang-kyu Kwon. My
doctoral research asks how vocational rehabilitation and workforce career
practitioners make sense of their role and the people they serve, and
what about that sense-making helps or hinders person-centered practice.
I expect to defend in 2027.
